Dr. Mirza Shahid Baig is an American dual fellowship trained and American licensed Knee and Hip surgeon currently practicing in Hyderabad where he was born and raised. With more than 10 years of experience and extensive training in USA, Dr. Mirza is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility and live pain free lives. He completed his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery from the prestigious Osmania Medical College. After his Masters, he spent five years in United States of America mastering advanced techniques in the field of Hip & Knee replacement and Orthopaedic Trauma (complex fractures). He returned to India with a vision to provide cutting edge care in the field of Knee and Hip replacement and complex orthopaedic fractures (including pelviacetabular fractures) in his hometown.
He is enthusiastic about pushing the envelope of nonoperative treatment and you will often find him trying to treat your arthritis without surgery. If your knee and hip arthritis need surgery, he is exceptionally skilled at both primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgeries.
